The Accountant will support the Accounting & Tax team in delivering accurate and timely bookkeeping, reporting, and tax compliance services for clients in Egypt and KSA. The role focuses on executing core accounting activities and ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and tax regulations.

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Record daily accounting transactions (AP, AR, GL entries).
• Perform bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of schedules.

Financial Reporting Support

• Prepare trial balances, ledgers, and supporting schedules.
• Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Support statutory financial statement preparation under supervision.

Tax & Compliance Support

• Prepare draft VAT returns, WHT schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with CIT computations and tax filing support.
• Ensure compliance calendars and trackers are updated and followed.

Client & Internal Coordination

• Coordinate with clients to obtain required documents and information.
• Respond to routine client queries under guidance from seniors.
• Work closely with Senior Accountants to meet deadlines and quality standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or tax.
• Basic understanding of Egyptian tax regulations (VAT, WHT, CIT).
• Experience with accounting systems (Zoho, SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage.
• Good command of English and strong Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Team‑oriented with a proactive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
