Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. Responsibilities include managing financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of financial principles.

Position Responsibilities

• Maintain cash forecast
• Prepare daily reports for review by management.
• Perform timely monthly close processes
• Prepare/enter and/or review/post general ledger entries.
• Assist in maintaining and preparing required tax documentation for weekly/monthly/quarterly state and federal reporting.
• Perform monthly and weekly balance sheet reconciliations including bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly reports comparing budgeted to actual results and provide analysis.
• Prepare financial information for affiliated entities.
• Assist in maintaining and preparing required tax documentation for weekly/monthly/quarterly state and federal reporting.
• Assist accounts payable and their processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in Accounting
• 3+ years general accounting experience.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, in addition to databases and accounting software.
• Data entry and word processing skills, with accuracy.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical accounting practices.
