Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in costing and budgeting, along with solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. This role requires analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to support financial decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Develop and monitor budgets, including variance analysis and reporting.
• Perform cost accounting functions, including product costing, cost analysis, and margin evaluation.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support financial planning and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial data and provide insights.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Monitor cash flow and support financial controls and process improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of costing methods (standard costing, job costing, process costing).
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Experience in manufacturing industry is a plus.
