Accountant

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, prepare reports, and handle tax-related responsibilities while ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Handle VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
• Prepare and submit tax returns and related documentation
• Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies
• Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
• Coordinate with auditors and tax authorities when required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–5 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and tax filing procedures
• Experience in working with different accounting systems and managing financial data through them.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• ACCA, CPA, or CMA certification
• with UAE tax compliance and VAT submissions
