Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, preparing reports, and supporting the finance department in maintaining accurate financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and general ledger entries.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements, company accounts, and financial discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
• Prepare VAT calculations and submissions in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
• Assist in payroll processing and expense verification when required.
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls and procedures.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
