Accountant

The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, preparing financial reports, and providing valuable insights to support effective business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record, review, and reconcile daily transactions, including sales, purchases, and expenses.
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and prepare financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Monitor bank activities and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in trading sectors.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Tally.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical ability.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
