Job description:
Key Responsibilities
Financial Transactions & Record-Keeping
- Handle daily accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions
- Monitor expenses and ensure proper cost allocation
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Assist in budget preparation, cost control, and financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with Qatar VAT regulations, Corporate Tax laws, and local financial regulations
- Prepare and file VAT returns in accordance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements
Payroll & WPS
- Process employee payroll accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with the Qatar Wage Protection System (WPS)
- Maintain payroll records in line with Qatar Labour Law
Banking & Reconciliation
- Perform regular bank reconciliations
- Monitor company cash flow and liquidity
- Liaise with banks for transaction processing and financial coordination
Audit & Internal Controls
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls to ensure accuracy and reduce financial risk
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience in the Qatar (Mandatory)
- Industry experience in trading, contracting, retail, or hospitality
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of Qatar VAT, Corporate Tax, and payroll compliance
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Local hire only – candidates must currently be residing in the Qatar
- Valid Qatar residence visa (NOC preferred if applicable)

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
