
Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts receivable and payable, and bank reconciliations.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.

Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.

Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making processes.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred.

Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards.

Proficient in using financial software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
