Summary/Objective:
The accountant plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financials records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. This position provides precise and accurate financial reporting and analysis to aid in business decision-making and operational performance.
Essential Functions:

Prepare and post journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy and timeliness.

Analyze financial data, variances, and trends to support budgeting and forecasting.

Serve as additional support for accounts payable, billings, and payroll functions.

Support department heads by generating and distributing various internal reports.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures

Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines

Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software

Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field

Related work experience, with production/manufacturing experience preferred.
