Accountant

Job Opening: Accountant – Qatar

We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing organization in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial management, reporting, and accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Prepare accurate financial statements, monthly reports, and budget forecasts
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies
• Handle VAT preparation, filing, and documentation in accordance with Qatar regulations
• Assist in internal and external audits
• Maintain proper documentation and financial records

Accounting Systems & Applications:

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or SAP
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, financial analysis)
• Experience with ERP systems and automated accounting processes is an advantage

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience (GCC/Qatar experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and VAT regulations
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
