Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our UAQ office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting the company’s financial planning and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage general ledger, journal entries, and financial records
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Manage invoicing, billing, and payment processing
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT returns
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Coordinate with auditors and support internal/external audits
• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial transactions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Other Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with UAE VAT filing and compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (reports, formulas, data handling)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in construction, contracting, or GRC industry
• Knowledge of project-based accounting and cost tracking
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
