Job Title: Accountant

Location: UAE (On‑site)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Accountant to support our national and international finance operations within the UAE. The role involves day‑to‑day accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, ERP exposure, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with company policies and applicable standards.
• Handle day‑to‑day accounting entries including AP, AR, general ledger, and journals.
• Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Assist in preparation of financial reports and management summaries.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including proper documentation and record‑keeping.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties for accounting‑related matters.
• Support audits and provide required financial data when requested.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in a general accounting role.
• Experience handling both local and international transactions is preferred.
• Prior experience in the UAE is an advantage.

Skills & Knowledge

• Good knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Language Skills

• Good communication skills in English required.
• Arabic language skills are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
