Accountant

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with UAE market experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE, strong knowledge of VAT and compliance regulations, and the ability to manage day-to-day financial operations efficiently. A valid UAE driving license will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with UAE accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Handle VAT calculation, filing, and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Assist with payroll processing and staff expense reimbursements.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and provide financial analysis for management decisions.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders as required.
• Assist in developing financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or equivalent).
• Advanced MS Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills (English required; Arabic is an advantage).
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred, not mandatory).
