Accountant

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant / Administrative Officer with UAE experience to manage daily accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and support operational administration.

This is a hands-on role. You will work closely with the founders and operations team to ensure financial accuracy, cash flow visibility, and compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain full company books in compliance with UAE accounting standards
  • Record all receipts, supplier invoices, and company expenses accurately
  • Reconcile bank accounts, POS reports, and cash collections
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients
  • Record and track all company assets
  • Maintain fixed asset register
  • Record depreciation where applicable

Cash Flow & Financial Control

  • Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow reports
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing payments
  • Assist founders with budget tracking and cost control
  • Support preparation of management reports
  • Track B2B collections and payment timelines

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Record inventory movements (raw materials, bottles, cans, packaging, kegs)
  • Reconcile inventory between physical counts and system records
  • Support stock audits
  • Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS)
  • Coordinate with operations for production costing

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain organized filing system (digital and physical)
  • Prepare payment vouchers and documentation
  • Support VAT reporting and ensure compliance
  • Assist with payroll documentation and staff records
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities when required

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years accounting experience in UAE
  • Experience in F&B, hospitality, manufacturing, or retail preferred
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Odoo, Zoho, QuickBooks, Tally or similar)
  • Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality
