Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with construction industry experience to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, experience handling financial transactions, and familiarity with construction project accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping
• Prepare invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Maintain financial records and prepare reports
• Assist in payroll processing and bank reconciliation
• Monitor project expenses and budgets
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with company policies
• Prepare VAT and financial documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the construction industry
• Proficiency in Tally, ERP, Excel, or accounting software
• Good understanding of financial reporting and bookkeeping
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in GCC preferred
