Job Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate cost tracking, and supporting financial operations within a cable manufacturing environment. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting activities, monitoring production costs, inventory valuation, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate accounting records for daily transactions (AP, AR, GL).
  • Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including raw materials (copper, aluminum, PVC/XLPE), labor, and overheads.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly closing reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and customer collections.
  • Track inventory valuation and coordinate with stores and production teams.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and cost analysis for management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, VAT regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and production teams for cost control and accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or cable industry.
  • Strong knowledge of costing, inventory accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Good understanding of VAT and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in manufacturing cost accounting.
  • Knowledge of IFRS standards.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
