Accountant

Job description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining financial records, and supporting the business in making sound financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial reports, records, and general ledgers
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Manage bank reconciliations and journal entries
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audits
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare VAT and tax filings as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 3 years of proven accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS or GAAP)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Xero, SAP)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
