Accountant

Golden Tax & Accounting is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant / Tax Associate to join our growing team.

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate, accounting student, or early-career professional who wants real hands-on experience in tax, bookkeeping, and client accounting services, not just repetitive corporate work.

You’ll work directly with business owners across industries like restaurants, real estate, and construction while learning practical accounting and tax skills that most entry-level roles don’t teach.

We’re looking for someone who is hungry to learn, organized, reliable, and excited to grow quickly in a fast-paced firm environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with bookkeeping and monthly financial reporting for small business clients
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations and financial transactions
• Support individual and business tax return preparation
• Organize client financial documents and maintain accurate records
• Assist with payroll processing and sales tax filings
• Communicate with clients to request documents and answer basic questions
• Help improve internal systems and workflows
• Support the team during tax season and month-end close periods

What We’re Looking For

• 0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Accounting student, recent graduate, or equivalent experience preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Comfortable learning new software and technology
• Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple tasks

Bonus Points If You Have Experience With

• QuickBooks Online
• Excel / Google Sheets
• Tax preparation software
• Bookkeeping for small businesses
