Accountant

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices. This role requires proficiency in financial software, including QuickBooks, as well as a solid understanding of budgeting and bank reconciliation processes. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify the integrity of financial data.
• Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks and for bookkeeping and reporting purposes.
• Assist in budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and insights.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for management review.
• Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in account analysis and technical accounting principles.
• Experience with AP and AR is a plus.
• Proficient in using financial software, particularly QuickBooks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data.
