Job description:

Position: Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced and responsible Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support the company’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reports.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, VAT, and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns on time.
  • Monitor cash flow and expenses.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Maintain payroll records and coordinate salary processing if required.
  • Keep all financial documents organized and confidential.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Accountant in UAE.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, ERP systems).
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Office applications.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
