Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of a plastic manufacturing company. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manufacturing accounting, inventory control, cost analysis, VAT compliance, and financial reporting. The role requires close coordination with production, procurement, stores, and management teams to ensure accurate financial records and efficient cost management.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
• Assist management with budgeting and financial forecasting.

Manufacturing & Cost Accounting

• Maintain and monitor production costing and product-wise profitability.
• Track raw material consumption, wastage, and production expenses.
• Coordinate with production and stores departments for inventory valuation.
• Monitor stock movement of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Ensure proper accounting for machine maintenance, utilities, and factory overheads.

Inventory & ERP Coordination

• Conduct periodic inventory reconciliations and stock audits.
• Verify GRNs, delivery notes, purchase invoices, and production reports.
• Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams for stock accuracy.
• Update and maintain accounting records in ERP/accounting software.

VAT & Compliance

• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems and financial software(Tally)
• Familiarity with tax-related aspects of accounts payable (e.g., VAT).
• Knowledge of corporate finance regulations and compliance.
• Must Have experiance in Plastic or relevant Industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
