Magic Shrimp Cafeteria is a growing food and beverage business in Dubai, committed to delivering quality meals and excellent customer service. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage daily financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with UAE regulations.

Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance with VAT and UAE Corporate Tax regulations, and assisting management with financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will have previous accounting experience in the UAE, preferably within the F&B or retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Records & Bookkeeping

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts on a regular basis.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process supplier invoices and prepare payments in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile supplier and customer statements.

VAT & Compliance

• Prepare VAT calculations and support VAT return submissions in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax requirements and other relevant financial regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.

Payroll & Expenses

• Assist in processing payroll and verifying employee-related payments.
• Monitor and control company expenses to ensure alignment with budgets.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Support management with financial analysis and budgeting.
• Assist with internal and external audits when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Experience in the F&B, hospitality, or retail sector is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and basic understanding of Corporate Tax requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Experience handling full-cycle accounting processes.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
