1. Core Responsibilities

• Day-to-Day Operations: Processing accounts payable and receivable, petty cash management, and maintaining the general ledger.
• Reconciliation: Performing bank, vendor, and inter-company account reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of Trial Balances, Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, and Balance Sheets.
• Compliance & Tax: Managing VAT filings and ensuring all financial documentation adheres to UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
• Auditing: Assisting internal and external auditors by providing accurate financial records and supporting documents.

2. Key Qualifications & Skills

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA) provide a significant hiring advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of UAE-specific accounting experience is heavily preferred by local employers.
• Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on knowledge of ERPs and accounting software such as Tally ERP. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are also a prerequisite.
