Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at Island Tower Electromechanical works LLC, a leading company in the Construction, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and District Cooling sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting, specifically within the construction or related industries.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely financial information to management.
• Conduct regular financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and department heads to track project costs, monitor budgets, and ensure financial goals are met.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and liaise with external auditors as necessary.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Minimum 4-8 years of accounting experience, having knowledge in Cooperate tax, VAT and other knowledge in UAE law is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
