Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant responsible for managing fixed assets, inventory accounting, and tax compliance, while supporting overall financial reporting and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and periodic physical verification
• Manage inventory accounting, reconciliations, stock counts, and monthly reporting
• Prepare and support tax filings, tax provisions, and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws
• Assist with internal and external audits (tax, inventory, and fixed assets)
• Ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing processes
• Reconcile accounts payable/receivable and support cash flow reporting
• Analyze financial data and provide management reports and insights
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Collaborate with finance, operations, procurement, IT, and external auditors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5 years of accounting experience (or similar role)
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and tax regulations
• Experience in fixed assets and inventory accounting preferred
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.) and advanced Excel
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• CPA/CMA preferred but not mandatory
