Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant responsible for managing fixed assets, inventory accounting, and tax compliance, while supporting overall financial reporting and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and periodic physical verification
- Manage inventory accounting, reconciliations, stock counts, and monthly reporting
- Prepare and support tax filings, tax provisions, and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws
- Assist with internal and external audits (tax, inventory, and fixed assets)
- Ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing processes
- Reconcile accounts payable/receivable and support cash flow reporting
- Analyze financial data and provide management reports and insights
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Collaborate with finance, operations, procurement, IT, and external auditors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of accounting experience (or similar role)
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and tax regulations
- Experience in fixed assets and inventory accounting preferred
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.) and advanced Excel
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- CPA/CMA preferred but not mandatory
