Alumex LLC is a manufacturing company based in Sharjah, established in 1997. We specialize in kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, aluminium, glass, and interior works. We are looking for a responsible and organized Accountant who can support our accounts and office documentation.
Job Responsibilities
The Accountant will be responsible for:
- Managing daily accounting entries in QuickBooks Online
- Recording sales, purchases, expenses, payments, and receipts
- Preparing invoices, quotations, payment vouchers, and receipts
- Filing and organizing company documents properly, both physical and digital
- Maintaining supplier, customer, and project-related records
- Following up with customers and suppliers for invoices, statements, and payments
- Preparing basic financial reports when required
- Assisting with bank statements, reconciliations, and petty cash records
- Writing professional emails in English to clients, suppliers, and internal departments
- Coordinating with management, project team, and factory when required
- Keeping all accounting and office records updated and accurate
- Supporting VAT-related documentation and reports if required
Requirements
- Good experience in accounting and office administration
- Must know how to use QuickBooks Online
- Good English communication skills, especially in writing emails
- Strong knowledge of document filing and record keeping
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Organized, responsible, and able to work independently
- Attention to detail and ability to follow up on pending matters
- Experience in contracting, manufacturing, kitchens, aluminium, glass, or interior fit-out companies is an advantage
- UAE experience is preferred
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of VAT documentation
- Ability to prepare reports in Excel
- Experience with supplier and customer statement reconciliation
- Ability to manage documents related to projects, invoices, LPOs, delivery notes, and payment records
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,200.00 per month
