Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Al Quoz. The ideal candidate must have solid UAE experience in a Contracting or Construction Company and possess strong expertise in Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees, Contract Accounting, and Project Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Handle project accounting, job costing, contract accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage Letters of Credit (LCs), including documentation, negotiation, amendments, and coordination with banks.
• Handle Bank Guarantees, including issuance, renewals, amendments, tracking, and release.
• Review and monitor customer and supplier contracts from a financial and commercial perspective.
• Coordinate with project managers to monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, clients, and suppliers on financial matters.
• Prepare MIS reports, cash flow forecasts, and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and company financial policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CA) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5–8 years of UAE experience, including experience in a Contracting or Construction Company.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Letters of Credit (LC)
• Bank Guarantees
• Contract Accounting
• Project Costing
• Cash Flow Management
• UAE VAT & Corporate Tax
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, or similar).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period.
• Experience in the façade, aluminum, glazing, or construction industry will be an added advantage.

Location: Al Quoz, Dubai

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
