Role Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end closing, and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations. The role supports financial accuracy, internal controls, and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger and financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with IFRS.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Perform reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
- Support audits and maintain tax documentation.
- Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting.
- Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes.
- Work with ERP systems for accounting, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
- Part-qualified CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Tally, etc.).
- Advanced MS Excel and analytical skills.
Pay: Up to AED6,500.00 per month
