Senior Accountant – Construction Industry Experience Required

Location: Dubai, UAE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in the construction industry and strong knowledge of accounting procedures, financial reporting, and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and job costing activities.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers.
• Handle payroll accounting, expense tracking, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with auditors and assist in year-end audit activities.
• Prepare management reports and support financial decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting standards.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CMA, CPA, CA) is an advantage.
