Senior Accountant - Hypermarket Group ( CA Inter )

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant specifically from the Hypermarket/Supermarket sector for our new retail project. You will manage high-volume daily transactions, multi-lane POS reconciliations, and heavy supplier accounts.

Note: Prior accounting experience in a UAE Hypermarket is strictly mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

POS Reconciliation: Audit and reconcile daily sales, cash, and card payments across 17+ retail counters.

Supplier Accounts: Manage accounts payable (AP) for FMCG/household suppliers and verify LPOs.

Inventory Control: Track stock movements, valuation, and account for food wastage/shrinkage.

Tax & Reporting: Handle UAE VAT filings, Corporate Tax compliance, and monthly P&L reports.

Requirements:

3–5 years of solid accounting experience in a UAE Hypermarket or Mega Retail Store.

Expertise in retail ERP/POS software (e.g., Gravity, iPOS, Odoo) and advanced MS Excel.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (B.Com).

Strong analytical skills to handle high-volume data.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
