Accountant

Job description:

• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare the invoices.
• Very good experience in accounts receivable.
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process
• Provide input into the department’s goal-setting process
• Assist with Internal and external audits
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an accountant of at least 5 years
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Awareness of business trends
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant
• With a Qatar driving license and a personal car
• Experienced in the construction industry
• Ready to join immediately
• The candidate must be available in Qatar with a QID and NOC to transfer his sponsorship.
