Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Officer with 4-5 years of experience to support our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Conduct financial analysis and assist in budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-4 Years of accounting experience, preferably in [industry or specific field].
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g. SAP, QuickBooks, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Oversee and manage the overall financial operations of the company, ensuring efficient planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and projections to support company strategy and decision-making.
• Lead financial planning and analysis efforts, identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving financial efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax filings, audits, and financial reporting standards.
• Develop, implement, and review financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets.
• Collaborate with senior management on investment strategies, financial modeling, and risk management initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor finance team members, promoting best practices and encouraging professional growth.
• Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and ensure liquidity for operations and growth needs.
