About the Role

Edgec.io is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who want to build a strong foundation in accounting, finance, and business operations.

The selected candidate will support day-to-day accounting activities, maintain financial records, assist with reporting, and gain hands-on experience working in a dynamic technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in recording financial transactions and maintaining accounting records.
• Support journal entries, ledger updates, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment tracking.
• Help monitor expenses and maintain supporting documentation.
• Support payroll processing and employee reimbursement activities.
• Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports.
• Maintain organized financial records for audits and compliance purposes.
• Learn and support tax-related documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute ideas for improving financial processes and reporting accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, BBA, Commerce, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, spreadsheets, and data organization).
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and develop a career in accounting and finance.
