Accountant

Job description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Philippine National , Sr. Accountant with 3 to 5 years of accounting experience to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will support daily financial operations, and ensure accurate record-keeping in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Record and reconcile daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts and journal entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Help prepare documentation for audits and tax filings
• Maintain accurate financial records and organized filing systems
• Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
• Prepare project costing
• Prepare Payroll
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing or payment issues
• And process and monitor any related financial transactions

Qualifications:

• Locally Available, Preferred Philippine National
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• With an understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
• Well knowledgeable in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• With analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
