Ropstam is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to support daily financial operations. The role involves managing accounting records, reconciliations, and financial reporting within a structured, client-service-based environment. Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and budgeting
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports to provide insights into the company’s financial position and performance
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax laws and reporting requirements
- Conduct regular audits of financial documents and processes to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement
- Work closely with other departments, such as IT and operations, to align financial activities with business objectives
- Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and improve data accuracy
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Mandatory)
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (Mandatory)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
- Exceptional attention to detail to maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
