Accountant

Overview

Rosetta Atlanta is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within the restaurant and/or bakery industry, along with proficiency in QuickBooks. This role is essential to supporting the financial health of our business and ensuring accurate, timely reporting.

Duties

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis

- Process payroll and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss reports

- Manage food and beverage cost tracking and inventory reconciliation

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for restaurant and bakery operations

- File and remit sales tax, payroll taxes, and other required filings

- Coordinate with vendors and manage supplier invoices and payments

- Support year-end close processes and assist with audits as needed

- Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the restaurant, bakery, or food service industry

- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online) is required

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

- Experience with food cost analysis, inventory management, and POS system reconciliation

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with management and kitchen staff

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
