Accountant – 3PL Logistics

Role Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing accurate financial reports, and generating MIS reports to support business decision-making. The role requires a strong understanding of logistics operations, cost structures, and warehouse financial performance in a 3PL environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Maintain accurate books of accounts (AP, AR, GL)
• Handle invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management
• Automate MIS reporting using Excel / ERP tools
• Validate customer contracts and ensure accurate billing
• Support pricing and commercial evaluation for new clients

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Monitor actual vs. budget performance
• Support management in financial planning

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure VAT compliance and filing
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails

Required Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in accounting/finance
• Experience in 3PL / logistics / supply chain industry
• Proven experience in MIS reporting and financial analysis
• Experience working with ERP systems with WMS-integrated systems

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Commerce (B.Com or equivalent)
• Professional certifications preferred:
• CA Inter / ACCA / CMA (preferred but not mandatory)

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
