The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance across our group of specialised companies. Responsibilities

- Manage all accounting transactions and day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements in a timely manner.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing key financial insights to management.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements in Qatar.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support a smooth and efficient audit process.


Qualifications

- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
- Proven professional experience working as an Accountant, preferably within a holding company or a multi-entity environment.
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles, standards (IFRS), and financial reporting.
- High proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with a proven capacity to meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) would be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in the media or creative industries is desirable but not essential.
