Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Accountant & PRO to manage financial operations while also handling public relations, supplier coordination, and day-to-day operational troubleshooting for our coffee shop. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can balance accounting responsibilities with operational support to ensure smooth business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including daily sales, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Monitor inventory costs, cost of goods sold (COGS), and profit margins.
  • Handle payroll processing and employee expense tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and tax requirements.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash.

PRO (Public Relations Officer) Duties

  • Act as the main point of contact with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • Handle licensing, permits, renewals, and official documentation.
  • Ensure the business complies with all legal and municipal requirements.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders when needed.

Supplier & Vendor Management

  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and quality.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely ordering of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
  • Resolve supplier-related issues, including delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure favorable terms.

Operations & Troubleshooting

  • Oversee daily operational issues and provide quick solutions.
  • Support staff with administrative and operational challenges.
  • Identify inefficiencies in processes and implement improvements.
  • Assist management in decision-making with financial insights.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting, preferably in F&B, retail, or hospitality.
  • Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of local regulations and PRO-related processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in coffee shop or restaurant operations.
  • Familiarity with inventory and cost control in F&B.
  • Bilingual skills (e.g., English & Arabic) are a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
