Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to support our finance department with daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, handling invoices, monitoring payments, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions within a distribution business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses)
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• preparing monthly financial reports
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable

Invoicing & Payments

• Issue sales invoices to clients (salons, retailers, distributors)
• Follow up on customer payments and outstanding balances
• Process supplier invoices and payments
• Prepare payment vouchers and receipts

Inventory & Cost Control

• Coordinate with warehouse for stock reconciliation
• tracking inventory costs and margins
• Support periodic stock audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of accounting experience (distribution or trading company preferred)
• Knowledge of accounting software (Odoo)
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel
• Understanding of UAE VAT regulations
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
