Role Overview
We are seeking an Accountant & Compliance Officer to manage daily financial operations and ensure compliance with UAE regulations. This is a hands-on role where you will oversee accounting activities, VAT compliance, and client onboarding in line with AML/KYC requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance

• Manage financial records from entry to finalization of accounts
• Issue commission invoices to clients and property developers
• Prepare and post journals and accruals
• Monitor outstanding invoices, follow up on payments, and manage collections
• Ensure VAT compliance and prepare VAT filings
• Coordinate with auditors during annual audits

Compliance (AML/KYC)

• Onboard clients by collecting and reviewing required documents
• Verify client information to meet AML/KYC regulations
• Monitor adherence to local and international compliance standards

Skills & Experience

• 1–3 years of accounting/finance experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in financial processing
• Excellent communication skills in English (written & spoken)
• Experience with Zoho Books or similar accounting software (preferred/required)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Understanding of UAE VAT and compliance regulations
