Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with hands-on experience in a UAE-based building contracting company. The candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, handling project-related transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Process supplier and subcontractor invoices after verification of LPOs, GRNs, and supporting documents.
• Prepare payment vouchers and update accounting systems.
• Perform supplier, subcontractor, and customer reconciliations.
• Maintain project-wise cost allocation and monitor expense tracking.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and assist in cash flow monitoring.
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting activities.
• Assist in VAT documentation and ensure compliance with UAE FTA requirements.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents for audit purposes.
• Coordinate with procurement, QS, HR, and project teams for financial data verification.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience in a UAE building contracting company.
• Knowledge of construction accounting processes (subcontractor payments, retention, advances, project costing).
• Basic understanding of UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (Tally, Focus, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
