Accountant - Construction/Fit-out experienced

Job Description:

We are a reputable contracting company in Dubai seeking an experienced Accountant with a solid background in the construction or fit-out industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, payments, and cheque handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and process daily financial transactions
• Handle supplier and subcontractor payments
• Prepare, issue, and track cheques
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable
• Manage petty cash and perform bank reconciliations
• Prepare VAT reports and filings
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all accounting records

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of UAE experience in accounting
• Must have experience in the construction or fit-out industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (must be UAE attested)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar)
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations
• UAE Driving License is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
