Accountant / Controller

Job Summary
An international freight forwarding company, is currently seek for an accountant.

As an Accountant, you'll lead key accounting functions, support OP on freight release, financial reports, audits, and contribute to the company’s accounting and planning.

You’ll directly work closely with CEO to ensure smooth financial operations and provide insights that drive to expand business and growing forward.

Requirment :

• Fluency in Chinese and English is required to serve our diverse client and oversea teams.( Required )
• More than 1 years of freight forwarding accountant experience (Required)
• Background in logistics or supply chain industries (required, at lease 2 years).
• Known freight forwarding system, such as E-Freight, EFC system (preferred but not required).
• Familiar with different terminal and shipping line's payment platform (preferred but not required )
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.

Resposibilities

• Understand Freight release , accrual expense, debit note, and credit note, with some very basic audit function.
• Understand simple month-end close process, including preparing general ledger journal entries and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Knows reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Capable to balance oversea fixed asset accounting, including tracking, reconciliation, and reporting responsibilities.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skill to work OP.(including terminal exam fees dues, sense of date and timely manner material, such as demurrage)
• Basic HR is option and a bonus to have

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
