Job Description Accountant cum Admin Officer

Location: Qatar
Reporting to: Management

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant cum Admin Officer to manage day-to-day administrative operations and handle complete accounting activities in Odoo ERP up to finalization. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth factory operations, accurate financial records, and compliance with company policies.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance (Odoo ERP)

  • Maintain daily accounting entries in Odoo (Sales, Purchases, Expenses, Journals).
  • Handle Accounts Payable & Receivable.
  • Prepare and post invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
  • Manage bank and cash transactions, including bank reconciliation.
  • Maintain inventory accounting coordination with production/store.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Finalize accounts up to Trial Balance, P&L, and Balance Sheet.
  • Support external auditors and provide required financial documents.
  • Ensure VAT compliance and filing (if applicable).

Administration & Operations

  • Handle day-to-day office and factory administration.
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, and basic HR documentation.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, service providers, and government portals.
  • Prepare purchase requests, LPOs, and follow up on deliveries.
  • Maintain proper filing (physical & digital) of contracts, invoices, and licenses.
  • Assist management with reports, data analysis, and operational tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting and administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting module (mandatory).
  • Experience in manufacturing or food industry is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of accounting standards and local regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and basic office software.
  • Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines.
