We are looking for Accountant cum Administrator (multi tasking) for our group.
(Saqer Al Dammam Group).
We are well established player in the field of EARTH WORK CONTRACTING(Excavation, Backfilling, Leveling/Grading and Machinery Supplier) .
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant cum Administrator to manage financial records, oversee administrative tasks, and support day-to-day operations of our earthwork business. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and prior experience in the construction or heavy equipment/earthworks industry.
Key Responsibilities: Accounting Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and books of accounts.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Process payroll, overtime, and staff reimbursements.
- Prepare financial reports, cash flow statements, and monthly/quarterly/year-end accounts.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and expense tracking for projects.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders as required.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain employee attendance, leave records, and HR files.
- Draft and maintain contracts, quotations, and company correspondence.
- Manage office supplies, documentation, and filing system.
- Support project teams with procurement, quotations, and vendor management.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies, government regulations, and safety standards.
- Organize meetings, prepare reports, and handle day-to-day office operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Accountant/Administrator (construction/earthworks industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and UAE labor/finance regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (Tally/QuickBooks/SAP or similar).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and integrity.
