Accountant cum Administrator

We are looking for Accountant cum Administrator (multi tasking) for our group.

(Saqer Al Dammam Group).

We are well established player in the field of EARTH WORK CONTRACTING(Excavation, Backfilling, Leveling/Grading and Machinery Supplier) .

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant cum Administrator to manage financial records, oversee administrative tasks, and support day-to-day operations of our earthwork business. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and prior experience in the construction or heavy equipment/earthworks industry.

Key Responsibilities: Accounting Duties

  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and books of accounts.
  • Prepare, review, and reconcile invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Process payroll, overtime, and staff reimbursements.
  • Prepare financial reports, cash flow statements, and monthly/quarterly/year-end accounts.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and expense tracking for projects.
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders as required.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain employee attendance, leave records, and HR files.
  • Draft and maintain contracts, quotations, and company correspondence.
  • Manage office supplies, documentation, and filing system.
  • Support project teams with procurement, quotations, and vendor management.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies, government regulations, and safety standards.
  • Organize meetings, prepare reports, and handle day-to-day office operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Accountant/Administrator (construction/earthworks industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and UAE labor/finance regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (Tally/QuickBooks/SAP or similar).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail and integrity.
