Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Accounting Responsibilities
- Maintain and update daily accounting records including receipts, payments, invoices, and journal entries.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely vendor payments and collection of dues.
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements and monitor cash flow regularly.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support in preparing budgets and expense forecasts.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions for audit purposes.
- Process payroll and maintain employee salary, leave, and attendance records.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide required financial data.
- Manage petty cash and maintain accurate records of disbursements.
2. Administrative Responsibilities
- Handle office correspondence, documentation, and filing (both physical and digital).
- Coordinate procurement of office supplies and ensure proper inventory management.
- Support HR functions such as maintaining employee records, attendance, and leave management.
- Assist in organizing meetings, preparing minutes, and maintaining office schedules.
- Manage service contracts, renewals, and vendor communications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local labor or government regulations.
- Handle travel arrangements, visa processing, and other administrative logistics as required.
- Serve as a point of contact between management, employees, and external stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Proven experience (2–5 years) in accounting and administrative roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP).
- Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
