Job Overview:

Krishna Food Products is (basically a dairy products manufacturing-based company.) seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and ensure timely payment of bills. Manage customer accounts, follow up on overdue payments, and maintain good relationships with vendors and customers.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Assist with financial planning and budgeting.
• Inventory & Cost Management: Monitor inventory levels, cost of goods sold (COGS), and assist with cost analysis related to production and raw materials.
• Audit Preparation: Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate financial records and necessary documentation.
• Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate calculation and timely disbursement of employee salaries and related deductions.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CMA, or CPA) is preferred.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar), Excel, and other financial management tools.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders professionally.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Preferred Skills: Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of GST and VAT regulations in India.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
