We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant with HR/Payroll experience and expertise in UAE HR policies, payroll management, and financial accounting. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, VAT regulations, corporate tax compliance, and be proficient in TallyPrime software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit VAT and Corporate Tax filings in compliance with UAE regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely financial reporting.
- Assist in payroll processing, WPS compliance, and other HR-related accounting tasks.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and HR policies, including leave management, employee benefits, and contract preparation.
- Support HR functions such as onboarding, employee records management, and visa processing coordination.
- Address staff queries regarding their salary, providing clear explanations of salary calculations and deductions.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities as required.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and labor laws.
- Proficiency in TallyPrime software is a must.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English.
