We are seeking an experienced Accountant cum Inventory Controller with strong expertise in Odoo ERP , specifically in F&B / restaurant operations. The role covers full accounting, inventory management, purchasing control, and financial reporting to ensure accurate cost control and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities1. Daily Financial Operations
- Monitor daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, inventory, expenses, and cash flow
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
- Prepare daily sales and financial performance reports
- Supervise cash handling and outlet revenue reconciliation
2. Inventory & Purchasing Management (F&B Focus)
- Manage full restaurant inventory cycle (dry, wet, frozen, and consumables)
- Control stock levels and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO method)
- Monitor daily consumption vs sales (COGS control)
- Handle purchase planning and coordination with suppliers
- Verify purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier invoices
- Track wastage, spillage, and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate inventory records in system (Odoo)
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliation with outlet teams
- Support cost control by analyzing food and beverage cost percentages
3. Account & Financial Reconciliation
- Perform bank reconciliations and cash balance monitoring
- Reconcile POS transactions, credit card settlements, and delivery platforms (Talabat, Jahez, Keeta, etc.)
- Reconcile inventory with accounting records and COGS reports
- Investigate discrepancies in stock, sales, and accounts and implement corrective actions
4. Financial Management & Reporting
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Support payroll processing and staff financial records
- Prepare monthly financial statements and Profit & Loss reports
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Handle VAT filing and Bahrain regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits
5. ERP & System Management
- Operate accounting and inventory functions using Odoo ERP and Zoho Books
- Ensure accurate integration between purchasing, inventory, and finance modules
- Maintain real-time inventory tracking and valuation
- Improve system workflows and reporting efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience as Accountant cum Inventory Controller (F&B / restaurant industry preferred)
- Strong hands-on experience in Odoo ERP and Zoho Books (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of restaurant purchasing and inventory management
- Good understanding of VAT and Bahrain accounting compliance
- Proficient in Excel and reporting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be locally available in Bahrain
- Immediate joining preferred
